Head of Legal

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all legal aspects of the Company and affiliate’s commercial transactions, including licensing, distribution, cooperation, affiliation, payments, financial institutions, and others (drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of agreements). Advising on liabilities, legal restrictions, and risks associated with such agreements.
  • Managing corporate compliance under multiple jurisdictions and supporting day-to-day corporate governance and company secretarial matters. Corporate secretary includes managing all corporate resolutions and mandatory filings, maintain the required books and records.
  • Developing cross-organization compliance processes and implementing local and global compliance methods and procedures, e.g. privacy, Thai regulatory matters, KYC & AML.
  • Advising on day-to-day employment matters (employment agreements/ social benefits/ termination).
  • Engaging with and supervising the work of external legal counsels.
  • Partnering with various corporate teams, including supply, global finance, tax, M&A, operations, support and business functions to implement a broad variety of international corporate subsidiary projects.
  • Working with a variety of internal customers and partners around the world.
  • Implementing, updating and maintaining policies, procedures and policies.
  • Such additional or different duties as the Company may reasonably require.

Requirements:

  • A law degree from a recognized institution and a certified lawyer in Thailand.
  • 10+ years of work experience.
  • Commercial/corporate lawyer in a global organization or top-tier firm practicing international transactions.
  • International experience: studying or working period in an international institution/company in English.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English & Thai.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
